The Cuervo y Sobrinos Historiador Primera Dama is inspired by the Golden years of Havana.
The “Pearl of the Caribbean”, at the end of the 19th century, was a privileged center of luxury and the beautiful world: a universe of glamour, luxury, music and dancing that attracted people for all continents.

Cuervo y Sobrinos invites you to step back in time and imagine life in the 1930s, a period when Cuba attracted many tourists to its vibrant streets and beautiful coasts. With prohibition in the US continuing until the end of 1933, the Caribbean Island, located just 90 miles off the coast of Florida, offered liberal drinking laws and other hedonistic delights.
Movies stars, famous politicians and celebrities frequented the island’s casinos, while couples danced the swing music before going out to the vibrant streets rich of art deco buildings.
The watch is offered on a colour-coordinated glossy Louisiana alligator strap or a matching bracelet. At the heart of this timepiece sits the CyS 1005 calibre, a quartz movement that delivers a high level of precision and does not need require winding.
To celebrate this exciting period in Cuban history, Cuervo y Sobrinos unveils a new collection of ladies’ watches: the Historiador Primera Dama.
This collection inspired by the era of those years is elegant and feminine. Every version of the Historiador Primera Dama has a mother of pearl dial, with vibrant colors.
On the back of the watch, there is of an elegant lady wearing a cloche hat, typical of the era, with a golden feather.
