This year, the brand marks the 85th anniversary of the model by releasing an updated Prominente Doble Tiempo.
Equipped with a dual time display, powered by two independent movements, The Prominente Icónico Doble Tiempo can display two different times simultaneously, regardless of the time difference between the two locations.

Reminiscent of a Cuban sunset, the dial is suffused with salmon hues, accentuating its intricately formed guilloché surface.
The Breguet-style hour and minute hands feature luminescent treatment, aiding readability in dim light conditions. Stylised Arabic numerals hug the periphery of the dial, denoting the hours. Both the hands and indexes are presented in gunmetal grey.
Equipped with two independent movements, this watch allows the wearer to simultaneously display the time in two locations even when the offset is 30 or 45 minutes. This new model is available on a dark brown Louisiana alligator strap or a stainless steel bracelet.
Consistent with the design of its forebears, this new Prominente is inspired by Art Deco, a decorative style that has strongly influenced the architecture of Havana, the historical birthplace of Cuervo y Sobrinos.
To coincide with the release of this model, the company has introduced subtle improvements to the case, further heightening its notably elegant appearance.
For example, the caseband now features more curvaceous flanks, giving a sensual touch.
