The Robusto Pedro Murias pays homage to the son of Cuba and the home of its extraordinary business, ‘La Meridiana Fabrica de tabacos de Pedro Murias’.

The story
Pedro Murias began making cigars in the 1860s in a modest workshop in downtown Havana. As the popularity for cigars grew, so did Murias’ reputation. Ultimately, in 1882, such was the enormous demand for his products, Murias moved to a new two-storey building, ‘La Meridiana Fabrica de tabacos de Pedro Murias’.

Guarded within the confines of the sumptuous Cigar Lounge, home to Europe’s largest walk-in humidor, is an impressive collection of Pedro Murias artefacts for the delectation of historians and cigar afficionados alike.
Limited to just 100 pieces, the Robusto Pedro Murias brims with Cuban style. Featuring a salmon-hued dial - inspired by the original wall's color of 'La Meridiana' - framed with a contrasting chemin de fer, the watch is endowed with plump, silver-toned hour and minute hands.
These generously sized hands are complemented by bold Arabic-style indices. Both the hands and indices are lined with cream Super-LumiNova®, augmenting legibility in dim light and imbuing the display with a vintage look.
