Latino Award 2008 - Mario Vargas Llosa
Cuervo y Sobrinos has been honored to give the last edition of the “Latin Internacional” to Mario Vargas Llosa, this prize has been released by Cuervo y Sobrinos since 2003 and is dedicated to those people, members of the latin world, who gained international fame in various topics as culture, sport or entertainment.
In the latest editions this prize has been won by figures such as Pedro Almodóvar or Miguel Bosé. The tribute that Cuervo y Sobrinos granted to one of the most important protagonist of nowadays cultural scene, is an exclusive watch of the brand, from Espléndidos line, customized with the initials of Mario Vargas Llosa engraved on the quadrant.
In this way, Cuervo y Sobrinos reconfirmed its latin origins, through culture, underlining once again its own values of elegance, style and tradition, values whic have been recognized thanks to the election as a Nobel Prize of a figure such important as Mario Vargas Llosa’s.
